Kristian Walker

Pastor Kristian oversees our Worship Arts & Media Department. He graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, MO with degrees in Music and Bible. Pastor Kristian has been an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God since 1994. Prior to his ministry at CLA, Kristian and his wife, Shannon, traveled in full-time music and evangelistic ministry for 15 years. While ministering in churches, they led workshops with church worship teams, choirs and audio teams. Something many people may not know about Kristian is that he loves engineering and producing in the recording studio, which is where he served behind the scenes at CLA for 7 years. He and Shannon have recorded 9 CD’s, including several devotional worship CD’s and a live worship recording that was captured at CLA, entitled "Say So LIVE" (their CD’s are available in our Media Store). Kristian has a real heart for missions and has been on 25 missions trips to countries in Latin America, Europe and East Africa. Pastor Kristian and Shannon have 2 daughters, Aria and Elise.

Pastor Kristian’s Life Ambition: To see people of all generations worshiping together with total abandon, starting with my own family. I pray that my love for worship will be unmistakably evident and will inspire my girls to desire more of God's presence in their lives.

An interesting fact you may not know about him: His mother was born in England and his grandparents were church-planters there, hosting the well-known evangelist, Smith Wigglesworth, in their church on many occasions.  All of Kristian and Shannon's grandparents, both sets of parents and both of Kristian's brothers are in fulltime ministry, and there are 27 ministers in their family tree.
