Ron Smith

Pastor Ron has been in ministry for over 25 years. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science as well as attending Kansas City Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. He says his call in life has always been to aid the sick and less fortunate in life. He faithfully visits and ministers to members of our congregation who are hospitalized for a period of time. Pastor Ron also plays a role in the Pastoral Care Ministry. He spent 15 years privately counseling in a variety of other churches as well as CLA. He and his wife Sharon have been married for over 40 years and have three children; Randy Smith, Rhonda Marsh and Dan Smith.

Pastor Ron's Secret Life Ambition: To work as long as the Lord gives him good health.

An interesting fact you may not know about him: He spent time as a medical personnel in the Mekong Delta-Vietnam War.
