New to CLA?

Thank you for taking infants and children elementary school age and under to Kids Town. Our Kids Town classes and services provide a fun and well supervised environment geared especially for children. Please note: If you have a child with special needs or behavioral challenges, please inform a main entrance Welcome Center Assistant. Every effort will be made to help your child have a meaningful experience in Kids Town today.

A Middle School Service for students grades 6-8 is offered at 11:00 AM in the Youth Center (during the second Service).

Please complete the "New to CLA?" card located in the pew in front of you (or under the pew in the front row of each section) and place it in the offering bag. This helps us know how to better serve you.

Stop by Cafe Connections to receive a welcome bag, a coupon for our cafe, and answers to your questions about our church.

As our first-time guest, please do not feel obligated to give in today’s offering.

Medical personnel are standing by during each Service. Should you require medical attention, please contact the nearest usher.

Our Prayer Partners are available to pray with you after the Service down front and at the exit doors at the top of the balcony.

Hymn Sing — If you enjoy the hymns of the church, come early for a brief time of worship at 8:45 AM each Sunday morning in the Sanctuary!

Take 5 — Prayer is one of our Core Values here at CLA, and we're encouraging everyone to take at least 5 minutes to pray during the day throughout 2011. Today, you're invited to Take 5 minutes at the end of the service to pray about the needs in your life, the church, community and world! Feel free to pray at your seat, at the altar, or in the prayer areas in the balcony. Prayer Bookmarks are available for you to write down your top prayer requests and are located at the altar and in the balcony.

Intercessory Prayer Group — If you would like to participate in prayer for the needs of the local and global Body of Christ, join our weekly CLA Intercessory Prayer group, which meets on Thursdays at 6:30 PM in CLA Room 705.

Water Baptism — Next Sunday, February 5! — Our next Water Baptism will be held during both Morning Services with a participation limit of 10 in each service. Weekend TWOgether Marriage Retreat — A Weekend TWOgether Marriage Retreat is a chance to set your marriage up for the best year you've ever had together! Prayer Partner Ministry Opportunity — If you are an active member of CLA, have a clear testimony, are an example of a dedicated believer, a prayer warrior and live a Spirit-filled life, we need you to be a Prayer Partner! Men’s Softball Registration 2012 — If you are interested in playing softball and haven’t played before, stop by the Life Groups Kiosk or Tri Panel Display and pick up a Registration Form. Fill it out and place it in either Welcome Center Communication Drop. You will be placed on an existing team and contacted by the coach. Change The World

Donate a New or Used Bible! — The CLA Prison Ministry is conducting a Bible Drive NOW through February 12! Any new or used Bible is acceptable, but the greatest need is for Study Bibles of any translation, in large or giant print. Place Bibles in the boxes located in the East or West Coat Rooms.

• Bibles should be in good, readable condition with no damaged or missing pages.

• Bibles cannot have anything in them, including bookmarks or extra papers.

• Hand-written study notations may be written on the pages as long as they are not messages to a specific person.

• A prayer or message may be written on the inside cover as long as the message is not to a specific person.

Criminal Justice Awareness Forum — CLA Prison Ministry is hosting a Criminal Justice Awareness Forum February 5 & 12 at 10:30 AM in Room 408. This two-week forum will explain the process of the criminal system and help educate people who are curious about, or interested in, prison ministry. Everyone is welcome to attend. CLA with Mark Lowry — Don't miss a great night of laughter and music at CLA with Mark Lowry, featuring Pianist Stan Whitmire, on Friday, February 24 at 7:30 PM! If you have tickets for the original October date, PLEASE KEEP THEM - they will be honored for this new date. Haiti Missions Trip; April 29-May 5, 2012 — CLA is continuing to work with Builders International in the ongoing construction efforts of rebuilding churches and Christian schools in Haiti after the devastating earthquake of 2010. The Crave 2012 Missions Trip — Join us for a week of servant evangelism at The Dream Center in Los Angeles! It will change your life! Snow Tubing — Join us on Friday, February 10 as we travel to AvalancheXpress to enjoy an evening of snow tubing. We will leave from the Youth Center at 7:30 PM to be on the slopes by 9:00 PM for two full hours of fun. Cost is $18 plus extra spending money for food or beverages.

The Crave — Join us at The Crave on Thursday nights at 7:00 PM in the Youth Center and get connected with God and other young adults. Come chase after God with us as we continue in our series RE: GENERATION.

Fusion Youth | Grades 6-8
Fusion 3rd Annual Winter Retreat! — February 24-26 — We are excited to have a weekend where middle school students can experience God through powerful worship, challenging speakers and time spent with friends and leaders! Annual highlights include: the ropes courses, bonfire, capture the flag, J-Jam games, hanging out with friends and making new ones. This is a weekend you will not want to miss! Total cost is $105. Kids Breakaway Retreat — Parents, mark your calendars now for the annual Kids Breakaway Retreat on March 2-4. This retreat is for 1-6 graders and will be held at the Bongiorno Conference Center in Carlisle. Total cost is $103, with a $30 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit due no later than Sunday, February 5. Baby Dedication — The next Baby Dedication will be held on Sunday, March 11 during both Morning Services with a participation limit of 6 families each service.
