Nursery
Our desire is to share the love of Jesus with each child from the day of their birth. Starting in the three year old class and continuing through the kindergarten class, your child will be engaged in Bible stories and lessons each Sunday. Each child is very special to us and the safety and proper care of your child is our highest priority!
Visitor Check-in
First time visitors will need to complete an information sheet and give it to the attendant at the check-in counter. You will be given a nametag for your child and a nametag for their diaper bag, as well as an adult pickup receipt you will present in order to pick up your child. You'll also be given a pager that will enable us to contact you in the event your child needs you.
Regular Attendee Check-in
At your second visit to the check-in area you can go straight to one of the self-serve kiosk stations. Follow the instructions on the screen and your child’s nametags as well as your pickup receipt will be printed. You can then proceed to the Nursery & Preschool counter and sign out a pager.
Background Checks
Christian Life Assembly has a Child Protection Policy and all workers, as well as parents, who participate in the Cooperative Parental Child care are required to complete an application and background check forms.
Cooperative Parental Childcare
If you have a nursery or preschool age child and are a regular attender at Christian Life Assembly, you will be asked to participate in caring for the children in the nursery and preschool. The requirement is for each parent to serve one service each month.
Diaper Bag Suggestions
When you bring your baby to the nursery, please include the following items in your diaper bag: three diapers, bottle, bib, complete change of clothes, sweater and socks.
Nursing Mothers
For your comfort and convenience, we have a private room for nursing mothers. This room has a monitor from which you can view the adult worship service.
Snacks
Because of the number of children in our care, it is impossible for us to spoon feed a child while he/she is in the nursery. Bottles only are acceptable. Infants will be fed only what you give us. Crawlers are fed cheerios and walkers through Kindergarten are fed animal crackers.
Well Baby Nursery
In order to maintain a healthy environment for all children, we ask that you please do not leave a child who appears ill. Some signs of an ill child are runny nose, diarrhea, vomiting, or fever.
